The revised versions of the Standard Contract for TSR20 Futures of the Shanghai International Energy Exchange, the Risk Management Rules of the Shanghai International Energy Exchange, and the Delivery Rules of the Shanghai International Energy Exchange have been deliberated and approved by the Board of Directors of the Shanghai International Energy Exchange (INE), and have been reported to the China Securities Regulatory Commission. They are hereby released and shall take effect from June 1, 2022 (i.e. from the continuous trading session on the night of May 31).

After the market close on May 31, 2022, the number of positions held by members, overseas special participants and clients in TSR20 futures contracts for the delivery month should be adjusted to the integral multiple of 10 lots (In case the adjustment cannot be made on time due to special market conditions, it can be postponed for one trading day); from June 1, 2022, the number of positions held by members, overseas special participants and clients in TSR20 futures contracts for the delivery month should be the integral multiple of 10 lots, and the newly opened and closed positions should also be the integral multiple of 10 lots; positions that are not integral multiple of 10 lots will be forcibly closed by the INE. After the market close on May 31, 2022 and before the market open on June 1, 2022, the TSR 20 futures standard warrants held by the clients will be converted by the INE at the rate of 100 tons per storage unit; fractional positions that cannot be converted will be written off as physicals. All members are requested to issue reminders before the implementation of the revised rules.
