To smoothly launch the crude oil futures, Shanghai International Energy Exchange (“INE”), plans to conduct its first testing in production environment between the 17th and 18th of June. The details are as below,
1. As a matter of fact, INE plans to conduct four (4) testing, which are scheduled for between the 17th and 18th of June, the 24th and 25th of June, the 1st and 2nd of July and the 8th and 9th of July respectively.
2. This testing simulates business scenario the day before the listing of crude oil futures and the day of the listing of crude oil futures in the production environment with real members and clients data of INE. Please send your feedback to: yyfzcs@ine.cn no later than 18:00 on the day when the testing ends (Jun.18th, 2017). The naming rule of the Feedback Form is as follows: the Abbreviation for Members (Membership No.)- Feedback Form of INE’s First Overall Market Testing in Production Environment.
3. All software vendors will probably provide updates for relevant systems soon to support the crude oil futures. In case of unfinished system upgrade, Members shall contact their software developers to acquire necessary updates and complete the upgrading of relevant systems under the premise of ensuring production safety.
4. Members shall separately fill out the Seat Testing Fact Sheet of INE after the completion of the testing. All members shall make sure that their trading seats pass 2 tests at least prior to the official listing of crude oil futures.
5. INE’s Member Service System will provide testing data download during the period of test, and then conduct relevant data cleansing after the completion of test.
6. Please get ready for production data backup, do well in recovery and verification of production data after the completion of testing, and make sure that this testing will not affect the normal operation of production system.
