Official Reply for the Shanghai International Energy Exchange’s Launching of Crude Oil Futures Trading

Shanghai Futures Exchange:

Request for Listing Crude Oil Futures in the Shanghai International Energy Exchange from Your Exchange (Shang Qi Fa Document No.154 [2014]) has been received. In accordance with the relevant provisions of Administrative Regulations for Futures Trading and Administrative Regulations for Futures Exchanges, the Shanghai International Energy Exchange is hereby allowed to be engaged in crude oil futures trading.

The Shanghai International Energy Exchange shall strengthen overall planning and coordination, conscientiously fulfill various tasks such as market organization, rule-making, technology systems and investor education, effectively improve the market supervision and risk prevention system, properly launch market training and publicity campaigns, and spare no effort for smooth launching and stable operation of crude oil futures.
